Balls with Paths

So yes. The ActionScript Dynamic illustration again. This time it’s got a user-defined path. I built a simple, very user unfriendly interface to draw a line (It’s the wiggle actually) which captures the xml. Then when you go to the dynamic movie which attaches the balls it looks for the co-ords and drops them randomly around that line, getting small the further from the start point. Then draws a kinda of angry looking bunch of lines which follows the direction of the flow.

Dynamic Illustrations

So, inspiration from Joshua Davies who I saw at Flash on the Beach. If you haven’t seen his work go here: It’s pretty awesome. My little experiments are nothing in comparison. However I was kinda pleased with the outcomes. I made them orange and brown of course.
